Well Rehearsed, Elegant and Useless
Well Obama’s State of the Union Address was no surprise. His naive knowledge toward politics continues. If he is as smart as many people think, one would assume he would have learned a few things about governing by now. His thinking that having Republicans and Democrats sit together will encourage more compromise is just insane. That rates right up there with his apology tour – thinking the world would love us if we just apologized for all the horrible things we have done. How did the work for you President Obama?
Why did it take him two years to to realize that the voters expected “shared governing” by both parties. Oh that’s right, for the first two years he didn’t even have to talk to Republicans, and he didn’t. But there was an election last November and some things have changed. Unfortunately he still has no ideas on how to run a country.
What did he really say in his State of the Union Address?
- Did he tell us how he was going to create new jobs?
- Did he tell us how he was going to get us our of this recession? (He thinks the recession is already over!)
- Did he tell us his plan for bringing home values up?
- Did he tell us his plan for getting banks to loan money again?
- Did he tell us the government was actually going to stop spending?
- Did he tell us how he plans to reduce our $14 trillion debt?
- Did he tell us his plan for stopping illegal immigration?
- Did he tell us how he plans to improve our education system? “Race To The Top” Really?
